Taste of the Summit (TOTS) is back at the Sea to Sky Gondola.
Beginning June 12 and running each Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. until Sept. 11, TOTS is an à la carte dining series featuring a menu designed by Executive Chef Vinnie Hall. This year’s palette derives inspiration from the flavours of the wider Mediterranean region and its diverse cultures.
"Food is my language of love," says Hall in a press release. "The kitchen is my canvas, where I express creativity and revel in the camaraderie born out of shared challenges. I'm excited to continue this gastronomic journey served on the best patio in the province surrounded by 360 degree views."
Signature dishes include returning favourites like the braised beef cheek and new additions such as the burrata with marinated heirloom tomatoes, and the scallop ceviche with Hokkaido scallops. Beverage options are similarly diverse, with cocktails and mocktails alongside a curated list of British Columbia wines.
Adding to the experience is a live music lineup with local artists performing acoustic sets in the open air each week.
A release notes that is 12 kilometres north of the Sea to Sky Gondola, but is not affecting TOTS or normal gondola operations. The situation is being closely monitored, and visitors can check current conditions via the on-site .
