Beloved and formerly routine activities — like holiday camps for kids — are returning slowly but surely.
For the first time in two years, the was recently able to hold its spring break camps.
Just days before the academy's 2020 spring break session, everything closed down due to the pandemic.
In March, the resurrected two-week camps were The Little Mermaid, with participants aged 4 to 7, and The Greatest Showman, with youth aged 8 to 15.
"These were the largest audiences and groups of kids that we have been able to host in years, and boy did it feel great," said the academy's Jessica Kelly.
The final performances were held at O'Siyam Pavilion in downtown Squamish.
