Want to find unique gifts and also support local entrepreneurs?
Squamish's upcoming, twice-annual Refresh Market may be the shopping event to help tackle that holiday gift list.
Organizers claim it is one of 小蓝视频鈥檚 largest holiday craft markets. First launched in 2011, Refresh returns to the West Coast Railway Heritage Park with 100 local artists, makers, and shops on Friday, Nov. 16 from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (A First Dibs market preview will also take place on Friday, Nov. 16 from 3 to 4 p.m.)
鈥淩efresh offers a place to shop and scout new local talent from across the province,鈥 says Refresh Market co-founder Shannon Lorenz, in a news release. 鈥淪upporting local artists, makers, and small business continues to be the focus of all Refresh events, and it鈥檚 especially important as we head into the holiday season.鈥
Vendors will include sellers of clothing, jewelry, ceramics, art, vintage, artisan foods and more.
In addition to the shopping, the market also includes the opportunity to take portraits, partake in crystal and tarot readings, and a coffee and ice cream bar to keep shoppers entertained and satisfied.
