1. June 26, the Summer Reading Club Launch Party is on at the Squamish Public Library, from 12 to 4 p.m.
"Kids ages 5 to 14: Pick up your reading record and join in the summer reading fun!" reads the listing.
2. On June 27, there's Silence in the Library: an Escape Event, at the Squamish Public Library, located at 37907 2 Ave., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
"An event for teens! Celebrate the start of summer by taking part in Silence in the Library. Come alone, or form a team (no more than four) and join us as we lock you in the library. You and your team will be presented with a number of puzzles and challenges to solve in a race against the clock to see if you can find the code to unlock the cabinet of mysteries," reads the listing.
3. Get the long-weekend vibes going at Trickster's Hideout on June 28, at the Long Weekend Party w/ MONTEBONG + The Tequila Monkeys, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

4. For July 1, Canada Day, it's NiKo: Sk滩wx滩wú7mesh Squamish Together at Junction Park, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

5. On July 5, catch Jocelyn Pettit at Squamish Academy of Music, located at 38121 2 Ave., from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.

6. Looking to July 10, freak yourself out old school at Summer Movie Series: JAWS at the Squamish Public Library, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
