The Santa Claus parade organization's first committee meeting is on Sunday (Nov. 1) at 7 p.m. at the Inn on the Water (beside Rose Park). Committee members are asking volunteers to join the group and help put on the best parade ever.

Editor, I had the reverent pleasure of attending the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Brennan Park Recreation centre.

By definition the upcoming open mic town hall gathering is all about giving residents the opportunity to discuss pressing issues with council. But it's also about the viability of the process itself.
